Children’s Ministries – The mission of Children’s Ministries is to nurture children into a loving, serving relationship with Jesus.

Community Service – Part of being a good neighbor is providing services to our surrounding community. Adventist Community Services meets people’s immediate needs through social services such as tutoring and mentoring programs, Youth Volunteer Corps, health screening education and assistance, inner city missions, and disaster response.

Health Ministries – Health Ministries is not only about assisting our members with living healthier, happier lives; it is also about reaching out to the surrounding community.

Missionary Work

Pathfinder Club – The Pathfinder Club is part of a world-wide co-ed scouting type organization sponsored by the Seventh-day Adventist Church. Juniors and teens in grades 5-12 of any religion, or none at all, are welcomed and encouraged to join this ministry.

WACA (Waterloo Adventist Christian Association) – The mission of Waterloo Adventist Christian Association (WACA) is to promote the spiritual, intellectual, and physical health and well-being of individuals, to share the gospel of Jesus Christ, and to serve the community.

Youth Ministries – Youth Ministries provides various programs and opportunities for youth and young adults to connect and impact the community in a meaningful way. Some of our programs include:

Friday Night Live (FNL) – This program takes place on Friday nights for teens 13-18. We usually have time to talk followed by an activity and a discussion exploring concepts in the Bible and practical life issues.

Friday Night Live (FNL) AfterDark – This new program takes place on the last Friday night of every month at different locations. This program is designed for young adults 18 and older and provides a space to learn more about the Bible, discuss current issues and connect with other young adults.

Reach Out and Care Missionary Movement (ROCMM) – This community service initiative that involves working in underserved rural communities across Ontario by providing children’s programming and community services for seniors and families in need. Website: http://kwsdayouth.com/

Socials, Trips and Conferences – We often get together for socials (going out for dinner, movie nights, rollerblading, escape rooms, gym nights and more) and once or twice a year we do a trip or attend conferences where we can learn from amazing speakers and visit another city.

Community Services and Activities – Our youth have a commitment to reach out to the community through visiting nursing homes, putting on community plays, clothing drives, visitations and many more service opportunities. If you’d like to be a part of our service initiatives throughout the year, we’d love to have you on board!
